Enthalpy Analytical, a leading environmental testing laboratory, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $2.65 million contract by Maryland Environmental Service (MES) to conduct PFAS analysis using US EPA Method 1633. This five-year contract will support crucial landfill PFAS monitoring efforts across the State of Maryland.
Under this contract, Enthalpy Analytical will provide comprehensive testing services for various sample types, including groundwater, surface water, and leachate from approximately 22 MES-monitored and operated landfill facilities. Additionally, the project will occasionally include wastewater and biosolids samples. With best-in-class testing services, Enthalpy Analytical will be able to achieve an impressive quantitation limit of 2 parts per trillion (ppt) in groundwater, surface water, and leachate samples ensuring highly accurate and reliable results.

The project will be “full service,” with Enthalpy Analytical handling at least 90% of all analyses in-house. This approach utilizes 40 CFR and US EPA-approved methods, fulfills all method and regulated quality control standards, and meets a standard turnaround time of 10 business days. By leveraging its extensive experience and state-of-the-art facilities, Enthalpy Analytical is well-equipped to meet the rigorous demands of this vital environmental monitoring initiative.
