David Mathis

David Mathis is the Lab Director of Enthalpy Analytical’s Colorado laboratory, where he brings over 18 years of expertise in laboratory management and quality systems. Previously the Vice President of Origins Laboratory, which was acquired by Enthalpy Analytical in 2024, David was instrumental in leading day-to-day operations, managing business decisions, and overseeing staff and subcontractors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. David’s desire to “build a better mousetrap” has led him to implement deeply valuable efficiencies for more streamlined systems.

Earlier in his career, David worked as a Chemist at a local Colorado laboratory and held roles in construction management. He studied Business at Red Rocks Community College and Mechanical Engineering at Fort Lewis College, combining his technical expertise with business acumen to drive innovation in laboratory services.
