Steven Eckard, PE


Bryan Tyler
Bryan Tyler has focused his career on building, growing, and scaling businesses across multiple markets. He’s well-versed in both organic and inorganic growth and has brought this and his more than 15 years of laboratory experience to his role as Senior Vice President of Environmental Laboratories at Enthalpy Analytical, LLC, a division of Montrose Environmental Group.
In his current position, Tyler manages Enthalpy’s eight US-based air, soil, and water laboratories. This includes acquiring and integrating new labs while aligning existing labs so all are contributing to the overall mission of the Montrose Environmental Group.
Tyler has a bachelor’s degrees in both Chemistry and Animal Science, along with a master’s degree in Business Administration from North Carolina State University.

Christine Gay
In her current role as Vice President, Christine oversees Change Management, Process Improvement, Accreditation, Verification and Validation (V&V), Requirements Analysis, and Program Development of the Enthalpy Quality Management team. Prior to this, Christine had quality management positions at CTEH, responsible for the development and implementation of CTEH’s Quality Management System, gaining hands-on experience with CTEH’s operations, toxicology, and administrative departments. Christine holds a Bachelor’s in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. She is licensed as a Project Management Professional and currently resides in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Mike Allen

Mike Allen is Vice President, Technical at Enthalpy Analytical. Over the span of his 30-year career, Mike has spent time in various key leadership roles of the analytical laboratory business including new lab start up, operations management, method development validation and troubleshooting, business development, strategic planning, acquisition and integrations.
Prior to joining Enthalpy, Mike was owner of a consulting business advising Pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and Environmental laboratories. Before his consulting business, he was Director of Bioanalytical Science for Covance.
In his current role, Mike works as a bridge between sales and operations to understand customer needs and deliver optimized solutions, works closely with lab operations on process improvements and method troubleshooting, and provides technical guidance to achieve strategic objectives.

Cam Pham
Cam Pham received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at California Polytechnic University and brings 35 years of industry experience. She has experience in on site management, business development, project management, account management, product management and as a bench and mobile lab Chemist. As a lab director she has leveraged this experience to grow a lab from a $3M to a $13M operation in just 7 years. She has proven herself to be a business and technical leader on federal, state and local drinking water compliance as well as EPA’s UCMR programs.

Peter Arth
Peter Arth is an environmental scientist with a passion for applying an understanding of the intersection of toxicology, biology, ecology, and chemistry to understand, navigate, and solve complex environmental issues. Over the course of his career in environmental laboratory services and consulting, he’s held positions as analyst, project manager, and operations manager. He is currently the Director of Enthalpy Analytical’s Environmental Toxicology division where he oversees its technical, financial, and strategic success.
Peter has led laboratory-driven toxicological programs for commercial, industrial, governmental, and academic partners. He is well-versed in all aspects of performing and interpreting toxicity tests under guidelines published by a variety of regulatory agencies. His primary technical focus and expertise is the design, performance, and interpretation of site-specific toxicity investigations in freshwater, marine, and terrestrial environments. He has been engaged in Toxicity Identification Evaluations and other toxicity testing method development and adaptation, advocated for novel uses of bioassays as regulatory and risk assessment tools, and has presented his work at meetings and conferences across the country.
In all programs, Peter places a strong emphasis on effective collaboration, developing clear goals and objectives and attaining them cost efficiently, using sound experimental design, achieving unassailable data quality, and gaining client and regulatory approval.

Alice Delia, PhD
As Enthalpy Laboratory Director, Dr. Alice Delia manages the Air Quality Group and is the technical lead on all related development projects. Since her arrival at Prism Analytical Technologies in 2006, Dr. Delia is a leader in chemical profile interpretation and has been responsible for the development and deployment of several new methodologies for air quality testing, including tobacco smoke and fire & smoke residue using VOC markers. Dr. Delia received her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Atmospheric Chemistry from the University of Colorado where she gained extensive knowledge of atmospheric processes and their implications for air quality compliance and safety.

Clint David


Matt Loftis

Matt is a Laboratory Director at Enthalpy Analytical in Durham, North Carolina, with nearly 20 years of experience in the environmental analytical space. He works closely with Enthalpy’s scientists, project managers, and stakeholders – ensuring that data-quality objectives are met for every project and addressing project-specific questions before sample analysis. Prior to joining Enthalpy, Matt held lab management roles at First Analytical Laboratories, Pace Analytical, and Tritest, Inc.
In addition to his extensive lab experience, Matt holds Hazardous Materials Transporter certifications from both the US Department of Transportation and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Matt has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina. When Matt isn’t in the lab, he can probably be found watching an NBA game, and he can name every NBA champion in recent history along with some pertinent facts about any finals series you’d care to discuss.

Mandy Mishra
Mandy Mishra has spent the last 16+ years in the environmental laboratory business. During that time she has gained experience in analytical testing, procedural development and regulatory compliance. Mandy joined the current laboratory team in 2012 as a Quality Assurance Director and shortly after that took over the Laboratory Director position.
She provides concrete managerial expertise, analytical support and regulatory guidance to her immediate team and also serves as a technical and regulatory point of contact for a wide variety of clients and Accrediting Bodies, including but not limited to West Virginia, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania & Maryland. She is also responsible for development of the administrative infrastructure with continuous strategic planning, which includes business development, managing P&L and Quality Assurance of the laboratory.
She has Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Rochester Institute of Technology and Masters of Business Administration from Longwood University.

Patricia Caines

As Laboratory Director, Patricia is an experienced leader with a proven track record related to the growth of revenue and profitability. She has decades of experience working within cGMP, GLP, and GCP for pharmaceutical and chemical product businesses. She is skilled in team building, mentorship, succession planning, and driving culture changes through empowerment and active performance management.

Kasey Raley


Clint Thrasher

Clint Thrasher is a laboratory director at Enthalpy Analytical. He has over 17 years of experience in the environmental services industry, specializing in the analysis of environmental samples. Clint has been employed with Enthalpy since 2005 and in that time has had four different job titles: FTIR/GC analyst, field testing team leader, staff engineer, and finally, laboratory director. He is extremely well-versed in all of Enthalpy’s laboratory processes. Outside of work, Clint is involved in the air and waste management association (AWMA) Gulf Coast.
Clint received a BA in chemistry and a BS in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University.

Bryan Vining, PhD
Dr. Bryan Vining is the Laboratory Director for Enthalpy Analytical Ultratrace in Wilmington, N.C. where he has led the team for 6+ years. He started his career in the pharmaceutical sector where he developed an expertise in LC/MS/MS and isotope dilution. He then served as the Laboratory Director for a large environmental testing company for 8 years before joining Enthalpy Analytical. Dr. Vining holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from Florida State University and has authored, published, and presented multiple scientific papers on isotope dilution methodology at industry conferences and meetings. Dr. Vining has championed collaborative efforts to develop tools for quantifying and understanding measurement certainty for isotope dilution assays and has considerable expertise in the analysis of environmental contaminants at ultratrace levels in air, soil, and water.

Karla Buechler
Kara has over 35 years of experience in the environmental industry with over 25 years in various managerial positions and many years of hands-on experience with chromatography including LCMS and High Resolution Mass Spectrometry. She is also experienced in complex regulatory programs such as Department of the Defense, air and the sediments programs. She is committed to providing the highest customer service and exceeding client expectations in her current role. Kara holds a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis.

Marcus Hueppe

Mr. Hueppe has twenty years of laboratory management experience in operations, method development, quality systems and accreditation, bringing valued support and knowledge to Enthalpy’s lab network. Marcus is particularly adept to California air quality regulations and rules especially those governed by SCAQMD, BAAQMD, SDAPCD, SJVUAPCD and SMAQMD, as well as other agencies including ASTM, NCASI, CARB and the EPA. He has a Biomedical Engineering degree with an emphasis in Biochemical Engineering as well as an extensive and diverse expertise in Ambient Air Monitoring Programs, Source Emissions Testing, Industrial Hygiene, Vapor Intrusion and Remediation.

Jamie Fox
Jamie has over 25 years of experience in the environmental and analytical testing industry. He began his career working as a bench chemist in a dioxin testing laboratory and since has worked in pharmaceutical testing, data validation, chemistry consulting, and business development. For the past 2 years, he has been with Vista Analytical Laboratory in El Dorado Hills, CA and recently stepped in as Laboratory Director following the acquisition by Enthalpy Analytical. He has a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Tony Mastrianni
As a project manager, Tony works closely with clients and his team to design, execute and report high-quality, representative data for their projects. He has over 30 years of experience providing stack testing and analytical services.
Tony deeply understands the challenges involved in both the field and the lab. He has managed various test programs across a wide range of industry categories and sources, applying this experience to the benefit of Enthalpy customers. Tony holds his Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Christopher Abraham
Christopher is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University (B.S. Earth Science) and Southern New Hampshire University (M.B.A) and holds professional certifications as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). He has 12 years of comprehensive experience in health, safety and environmental consulting in the public and private sectors. He supports Enthalpy Analytical as the Corporate Health & Safety Director, with his diverse knowledge and application of local, State, and Federal HSE regulations, and implementation of corporate and divisional policies, programs and procedures.
